MegaloDon ROV was founded in 2021 with the aim of expanding the Aragon Robotics program into the novel and exciting field of marine (underwater!) robotics. Our team participates annually in the MATE ROV competition, which emphasizes entrepreneurship and sustainability. In its first year, we did poorly, placing last in the regional competition. However, we persevered, and in the following year earned 3rd place at their regional competition- only one place away from qualifying for the World Championships. This year, we’ve set our ambitions on the World Championships and are working hard to get there!
