Geary Chew
Mr. Chew has been a part of Aragon Robotics since 2007. With a background in manufacturing development and automation, he provides mentorship in the area of mechanical design, CAD, and machining. He enjoys working on robotics, home automation for security and lightning, electro-mechanical integration, wood and metal working, and much more.

Craig Sipple
Craig Sipple is a geometry and statistics teacher at Aragon High School. He has served as the teacher advisor for Aragon Robotics since the 2016-2017 season. Mr. Sipple provides mentorship in team management, strategy, and coaching. Outside of robotics, Mr. Sipple enjoys riding his bike around the Bay Area and hiking with his wife and two dogs.

Roger Lo
Dr. Lo has a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and has been working in research, design, development, and manufacturing in his career. Currently, he works for Amazon's Device and Service division, where they make Kindles, Echos, Fire TVs, and many other popular products. He has mentored the Mate ROV team since 2022, where he guides the team on program management, design, and strategy.

Lloyd Stout
Lloyd Stout has been in the technology area his entire career specializing in dynamic systems, control system design, rugged embedded electronics development, and management of enterprise software development programs in multinational companies. Lloyd is one of the lucky few that used calculus, differential equations, linear algebra and Newtonian Mechanics every day for the first 10 years of his professional career.
Outside of mentoring the robotics club at Aragon High school he hikes, runs, and has a keen interest in photography and many branches of science.

Mike Dhanuwidjaja
Mike D has a background in Engineering and Product/Project Management. Within Aragon Robotics, he focuses primarily on management, working with the Captains team to improve team productivity and efficiency. In his spare time, he enjoys photography and hanging out with family. Fun fact: you can find his name on IMDb!

Leo Zhuang
Leo Zhuang is an embedded software engineer at Skydio, where he helps program the hardware on their cutting-edge drones. A FRC alumni of Team 3792, Leo provides mentorship in programming and electronics. Outside of robotics, he enjoys the outdoors, sports, and gaming.

Gail Tanaka
Gail Tanaka has a professional background in marketing at large advertising agencies and tech companies such as Adobe. She hopes to teach AR members to help drive the team to have more impact, working with the Marketing team in several aspects. Outside of her job and AR, Tanaka spends time with her two rough collies, Rio and Zephyr, and is actively involved in the Japanese American community.

Phil Roan
Phil Roan has a PhD in electrical engineering with a focus on surgical robotics and professionally writes software tools for robot software developers. At AR, Roan mentors for FTC and MATE, hoping to guide the students with his experience and improving the team’s organization. Aside from being involved in robotics, Roan enjoys going to his kid’s sporting events and baking.
